Potential New Members,

My name is Kate Furman and I am the Vice President of Membership for Sigma Kappa Sorority at Virginia Tech. On behalf of the entire Epsilon Chi chapter, I would like to tell you how excited we are for this year’s sorority recruitment!

Being Greek at Virginia Tech offers many wonderful opportunities that one may have never have experienced otherwise. The Sisters of Sigma Kappa are committed to excellence in everything we undertake whether it is in our careers, classrooms, organizations or personal lives. Being part of this sorority not only made me grow as an individual, but has left a lasting impression that I will carry with me throughout my life. I found my home away from home within my sisters. Sigma Kappa has become more than I ever could have imagined, or expected and I hope that recruitment is a positive experience for you as well.

My Sisters and I look forward to getting to know each and every woman going through recruitment, and we can’t wait for you to learn a little bit about us too! Please do no hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you in the spring!

Sigma Love and Mine,

Kate Furman
